Project III was birthed from noticing a hunger for artists to get inspired and work outside of their genre or niche. The concept of Project III is for collaborations to happen between artists anywhere in the world and for anyone to apply. Our goal is to build a community over a company and believe anyone can become involved in art.
  • Do you have an idea fitting our vision, mission, and aesthetic?
    You can be based anywhere in the world and apply to pitch a project idea with PIII. Movement must be at the center of each pitch and the artist pitching should propose a collaboration with one artist outside of their comfort zone. Applications will be open for the project four times annually and a handful will be selected every season. The choreographers and concepts chosen will be paired with a Project III facilitator to collaborate on the direction and aesthetic of the creation.
  • How do I get my cast and collaborators if my project is accepted?
    At Project III, we are creating a rank-less, audition-less community. Apply any time to become a part of our database of artists. Once choreographers are chosen, artists can apply to be a part of the live projects that interest them. Likewise, choreographers and facilitators can request artists. At the end of the day, the Project III facilitator on the creation will have the final say.

As we launched in August 2022, Project III is still a young initiative. We are receiving far more enthusiasm and growing more quickly than we could have ever anticipated. We are striving to achieve non-profit status as soon as possible, but until the organization officially launches, all of our artists are creating new works out of genuine fervor and passion to launch Project III off the ground.

At Project III, we truly believe all artists should be compensated appropriately for their work and have our dedicated team working as efficiently as we can to achieve non-profit status and begin work on grant funding, outreach programs, and fundraising.
