I WANT MORE
WHERE IT STARTED, WHERE IT'S GOING
Hayden Lehr is showcasing their original designs in a maximalist goth dance film, choreographed and produced by Project III, to More by Sisters of Mercy. The dance narrative follows a youthful and female-presenting person, who feels they can’t fit in and stumbles upon a goth club. As the character's wardrobe gradually transforms through the film, the dance celebrates the journey of self-discovery and acceptance they discover in this community.

Lehr and Project III hope to onboard a cast of 50+ performers to execute our most ambitious film Project yet. We aim to pick up on the production by the end of the calendar year.

  • HAYDEN LEHR
    LEAD ARTIST, DESIGNER, Performer
Hayden Lehr is a designer from Orlando, FL, whose fascination with fashion ignited during middle school. They are influenced by rock music, subcultures, literature, and history. They are currently enrolled at the Parsons School of Design where she started experimenting with unconventional materials, such as soda can tab chainmail. Her design philosophy incorporates ethical practices; she’s used deadstock fabrics, DIY techniques, and pineapple leather in her work

She was ecstatic when offered to work with Project iii. She instantly felt a connection to the idea as an avid listener to alternative music, the Sisters of Mercy being one of her many favorites. She struggles with anxiety and found they don’t like clubbing. However, but they’ve found that all of their worries washed away when entering a gothic party or punk show. What she loves most about the music is the community that it’s given her.
